Dear brother/sister,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
I thank God for this privilege to share with you again how the Lord has been working in His kingdom, particularly in the local ministry He graciously entrusted to me here in the Philippines and made possible also through your prayers and support.
Many things happened this 2nd quarter of 2025, and here are some of the highlights and prayer requests. Thanks for your time reading.
1. Conference on Reformed Faith and Worship in Cavite, Philippines
Last April 2025, our local study center (Cavite Reformed Theological and Ministerial Institute) held a 3-day seminar with the theme, “True Faith, True Faith” and Elder Norlan De Groot as our guest speaker. The seminar focused on the foundational Reformed doctrines such as the Five Solas of the Reformation and the Doctrines of Grace. Then, we discussed different aspects of Reformed worship, including the Regulative Principles of Worship, Elements of Worship, the Worship Liturgy, and the Sacraments.
The event was hosted by Cavite Reformed Community Church (Kawit), led by Pastor Olan Rebullar. As many as 85 people attended and were blessed with the lectures on how our church services must be shaped by our knowledge of God through His Word. Please pray that the Lord will use the seminar to continually inform and reform the churches in Cavite and beyond.

2. Graduates in Vietnam MINTS Study Center
This school is not being promoted publicly due to security reasons, but as the MINTS Southeast Asia Coordinator, I’m happy to share that God has been moving also in Vietnam. The local study center there has 11 students who will be graduating this July in the Certificate and Associate program level.
Let’s continue to pray for God’s sustenance upon the teachers and students, and may the Lord use their MINTS studies to strengthen the churches and influence their communities. (Protestant Christianity remains a minority in their land)
3. New Home for MINTS Study Center in Cavite, Philippines
On June 12, we kickstarted the 2nd trimester of our academic year. We currently have 16 students—attending either physically and online. We’re blessed to take the following MINTS courses: “Synoptic Gospels” by Dr. Julian Zugg and “Revelation and the Bible (Doctrine of Scripture)” by Dr. Vander Pol.
We also moved our venue from Bacoor, Cavite to Dasmariñas, Cavite—the same venue for our local church. We’re thankful for the support from Reformed Mission Services to help with the transfer and other assets for the study center (including the tables, book shelves, whiteboard, and an Internet connection).
Please continue to pray that the Lord will bless our studies and help deepen our faith and service to the Lord.

Other Prayer requests
Here are some of my prayer requests
a. Local church
Our church plant in Dasmariñas, Cavite has changed its name to Dasmariñas Reformed Mission Church (formerly Grace Immeasurable Christian Church). We decided to replant the church, since most of the core members when we started have left already. We have 6 families who attend regularly, and last Sunday, the manager of the store in the 1st floor of our building finally joined us in worship. What a surprise!
Please pray that the Lord will keep me faithful in the ministry as a church planter despite some changes among the people who come to church. May we always keep our eyes on Christ and grow in God’s Word, rather than be anxious with the external circumstances of the church.
Please pray that the Lord will encourage the current attendees and that God will send the “right” people who will be part of establishing the church plant.
b. Examination of other Pastors in Our Federation
We’re scheduled to have a Colloquium Doctum for 1-2 pastors in our Federation (Philippine Council of Reformed Churches) this coming August. Please pray that the Lord will sustain the panelists and examinees, and that this development within our Federation will help strengthen the churches in the faith and gospel ministry.
c. Personal Growth, Studies, and Writing
Please pray as Yeng (my wife) and I have been looking for other couples outside the church who have gone before us in life and ministry. We need more pastors and pastors’ wives who have mentor and encourage us in different ways as we navigate through life and ministry.
At the same time, please pray that I’d be able to continue my studies with MINTS in the next semester. It’s been hard to juggle many things together this year since I’m also working as a Warehouse Supervisor alongside the local ministry and the study center. But I thank the Lord for giving me wisdom and strength in prioritizing my roles and tasks so far.
Lastly, please pray as I go back to writing articles and books. A lot of people have been blessed with my Tagalog translation of the Three Forms of Unity and Ecumenical Creeds, and some are asking if we have other books. The Lord has rekindled my passion for writing, and I just have to be more organized with my schedules in order to sustain it. May the Lord help me use the gifts He’s given me for His service and glory.
